בעקבות ירידת גשמים חזקים היום במרחב גוש דן וחדירת מי גשם ונגר עילי למערכות האיסוף גם של "איגודן", הוזרמו מי נגר מהולים בביוב ממוצא החירום של תחנת רידינג בתל אביב אל הים. כאמור, בעקבות זאת, במשרד הבריאות מזהירים את הציבור מפני רחצה בחופי בת ים, תל אביב והרצליה עד להפסקת הגשם וקבלת תוצאות מי ים תקינות.
