ועדת המינויים ֿשל משרד החוץ החליטה על מינוי סימונה הלפרין לשגרירת ישראל החדשה ברוסיה.

הלפרין, מכהנת כיום כסמנכ"ל אגף אירואסיה ומערב הבלקן במשרד החוץ וכאמור כעת תקודם לתפקיד שגרירת ישראל ברוסיה. המינוי טעון אישור של הממשלה ועוד לא נכנס לתוקף.
