עם 41.6 מיליון נוסעים בחצי שנה: שדה״ת של דובאי שובר שיאים חסרי תקדים

נמל התעופה הבינלאומי של דובאי שובר שיאים ולא רק שהוא מציין חזרה לשגרה, אלא שהוא עוקף את נתוני טרום הקורונה .

״זו הייתה מחצית ראשונה מאוד מתגמלת עבוד שדה התעופה של דובאי. אנו גאים מאוד בידיעה שאנו מספקים מצוינות תפעולית וחווית אורחים למופת. הצוות המסור שלנו עושה מעל ומעבר כדי ליצור חוויה אישית וחלקה עבור כל אורח״, אמר פול גריפית׳ס, מנכ״ל שדות התעופה של דובאי.

בנמל התעופה של דובאי עברו במחצית הראשונה של השנה 41.6 מיליון נוסעים, גידול של 100% לעומת תקופה מקבילה בשנת 2019. החודש העמוס ביותר היה חודש מרץ, אז עברו 7.3 מיליון נוסעים. עוד הנמל ציין 201,800 טיסות שעברו בנמל, גידול של 13% לעומת תקופה מקבילה אשתקד, כשמעל ל-200 אלף הטיסות הגיעו ל-257 יעדים ב-104 מדינות. מספר המזוודות שעבר בנמל שבר שיאים גם כן; בנמל ציינו גידול של 7% בטיפול במזוודות, כשההערכה הינה של 37.2 מיליון מזוודות שהגיעו בשלום ליעדן, עם זמני מסירה יוצאי דופן כש-92% מהמזוודות הגיעו בתוך 45 דקות ללקוחות.

״התחלנו את המחצית השנייה עם ביקוש חזק בחודש יולי, כשהשיא העונתי המשיך עם פתיחת בתי הספר באוגוסט. אנחנו מתכוננים להמשך עמוס במיוחד של השנה. שינינו מחדש את התחזית שלנו לסיום שנת 2023 עם 85 מיליון נוסעים, לעומת התחזית הקודמת של 83.6 נוסעים. מדובר בגידול של 1.6% לעומת התנועה השנתית ב-2019״, סיכם פול.
