ליאור גלפנד נבחר לתפקיד יו״ר לשכת מארגני תיירות נכנסת לישראל.

גלפנד נבחר היום (רביעי) על ידי חברת הלשכה במסגרת האסיפה הכללית של ארגון התיירות הוותיק.

גלפנד אמר לפספורטניוז מיד לאחר המינוי: ״משימתי כיו"ר לצד משימות הלשכה המקצועיות הקבועות - שינוי תדמיתי ענפי מבית ומחוץ בעידן של עליית ביקושים לתיור בישראל מחד אך מחסור בכח אדם מוכשר וצעיר למרות העלייה בשוק מחפשי העבודה הכללי. אפעל למען העמקת המסר התודעתי שמארגני התיירות הם יצרנים, יצואנים יזמים ומשקיעים - שינוי שכאשר ייקלט בשוק העבודה יביא פתרונות לאיוש משרות בדרג התפעולי והניהולי אצל חברי הלשכה ובמקצוע התיירות בכלל, הצמא לריענון איכותי.
