הממשלה אישרה: מענק מחייה כפול למפונים סיעודיים

המענק למפונים, שאינם שוהים בבית מלון וזקוקים למטפל סיעודי, יעמוד על 400 ש"ח ליום

הממשלה אישרה תיקון לתוכנית, שיזם שר התיירות חיים כץ, למענק מחייה למפונים (200/100), שאינם שוהים בבית מלון במימון המדינה, כך שיינתן להם שיפוי גם בגין מטפל סיעודי.

גובה המענק היומי יעמוד על 400 ש"ח.

ההחלטה אושרה, מבלי שנשלחה התייחסות מטעם אגף התקציבים להצעה לרווחת מפונים סיעודיים ולמהלך החוסך למדינה בין חצי מיליון ל-800 אלף ש"ח ליום.

שר התיירות, חיים כץ, אמר: "הרפרנטים באגף התקציבים לא מגיבים להצעות ולא עונים לטלפונים. זו קריאת השכמה - ישראל במלחמה. אין למפונים זמן לחכות ואין מקום למשחקי אגו על חשבונם. אני מודה לרה"מ, לשר האוצר וליתר השרים, שתמכו בהצעה.

משרד התיירות בהובלתי בנה מערך לשיבוץ מפונים לחדרי הארחה. ביטלנו תיווך של סוכנים פרטיים, שגזרו קופונים של עשרות מיליוני ש"ח, מנענו פינוי לבתי ספר והבאנו אלטרנטיבה למי שלא מעוניין לשהות במלונות בהסדר. תשלום המענק בעיצומו והוא ישולם רטרואקטיבית לזכאים".
