המפגש המרגש של אשת הנשיא ביום זכויות האנשים עם מוגבלות

אשת נשיא המדינה, מיכל הרצוג, קיימה מפגש במלון לאונרדו סיטי טאוור מרשת מלונות פתאל, עם עמותת "נגישות ישראל" ומיזם "האפוד הסגול"

מלון לאונרדו סיטי טאוור (מרשת מלונות פתאל) אירח אתמול (ב') מפגש מרגש של עמותת "נגישות ישראל", במעמד אשת נשיא המדינה, מיכל הרצוג.

המפגש נערך לציון היום הבינלאומי לזכויותיהם של אנשים עם מוגבלות בדגש על המיזם "האפוד הסגול" שמהיום הראשון למלחמה פועל לסיוע, תמיכה ופינוי של אנשים החיים עם מוגבלות, קשישים ובני משפחותיהם באופן נגיש ומוגן.

במפגש לקחו חלק נציגי מפונים, נציגי משרדי הממשלה והרשויות המקומיות, עובדי ומתנדבי העמותה והמיזם ושותפים המאפשרים את העשייה הברוכה בתקופה זו.

ממלונות פתאל נמסר כי הרשת "מגלה אחריות ומעורבות בקהילה למען עתיד טוב יותר ורואה בשילוב אנשים עם מוגבלויות חלק בלתי נפרד מסדר היום של החברה, מיום הקמתה. בתי המלון של הרשת מעסיקים עובדים בעלי צרכים מיוחדים בתפקידים מגוונים, מכאן שאירוח מפונים רבים עם מוגבלויות בזמן המלחמה, החיבור למיזם 'האפוד הסגול' ואירוח האירוע החשוב היה אך טבעי".

רשת מלונות פתאל מארחת בימים אלה כ-20 אלף מפונים מהעוטף, הצפון והדרום, במעל 45 בתי מלון בישראל.
