הסוף לתורים? אושר בכנסת: בקשות מהבית לדרכונים ותעודות זהות - החל ממתי?

הצעת החוק שאושרה תאפשר הנפקת דרכונים ותעודות זהות באמצעות בקשה שתוגש באינטרנט, ללא נוכחות אישית ברשות האוכלוסין וההגירה. בשלב זה, התהליך אושר כהוראת שעה לחצי שנה

הסוף לתורים? בקרוב ניתן יהיה להגיש בקשות מהבית לדרכונים ותעודות זהות.

החל מתאריך ה-30.4.24, בהתאם לחוק שאושר, שנקבע כהוראת שעה לחצי שנה, אזרח בגיר מעל גיל 18 שיש בידו מסמך זיהוי ביומטרי ואשר טביעות אצבעותיו נשמרו במאגר הביומטרי, יוכל להגיש בקשה מרחוק, ולקבל לביתו מסמך זיהוי בעל תוקף של עד חמש שנים.

תהליך הגשת בקשות מרחוק אושר כהוראת שעה לחצי שנה, וניתן יהיה להאריכו לתקופה נוספת של חצי שנה. במהלך תקופה זו ייבחנו תוצאות הפיילוט ויתקבלו החלטות לגבי אפיון תהליכים של הנפקת תיעוד ביומטרי דרך האינטרנט לטווח הרחוק.

חשוב להדגיש, ההנפקה במסלול זה תתאפשר רק לבני 18 ומעלה, שהונפק להם דרכון ביומטרי קודם אשר פקע בחצי שנה האחרונה או שהוא בתוקף שנה קדימה. בנוסף, ⁠הגשת בקשה תינתן רק למי שנמצא בישראל בזמן הגשת הבקשה, תעודת הזהות או הדרכון שיונפק יהיה ביומטרי ובעל תוקף לחמש שנים מקסימום.
