לאחר הודעת הנציבות האירופית וסוכנות הבטיחות האווירית של האיחוד האירופי הממליצות שלא לטוס מעל המרחב האווירי של ישראל ולבנון עד ה-31.10.24, חברת התעופה בהודעה מיוחדת הערב לגבי הערכותה לקראת ראש השנה

ארקיע נערכת לתת מענה לביקושים ולעומסים לקראת החג.

זאת לאחר ההסלמה במצב הביטחוני שבעקבותיה פורסמה הודעת הנציבות האירופית וסוכנות הבטיחות האווירית של האיחוד האירופי (EASA) שמציינות כי הן עוקבות מקרוב אחר המצב במזרח התיכון והשפעתו על התעופה האזרחית בעקבות הזינוק האחרון בחילופי הצבא בין ישראל לחיזבאללה, וממליצות שלא לטוס מעל המאחב האווירי של ישראל ולבנון עד ה-31.10.24.

בהודעת החברה נמסר כי: "בהמשך להמלצת הרשות האירופאית לבטיחות בתעופה, חלק מהחברות הזרות עזבו במהלך היום את ישראל. ארקיע נערכת לתת מענה לביקושים ולעומסים לקראת החג. החברה מחוייבת ללקוחותיה ופועלת סביב השעון על מנת לתגבר את לוח הטיסות לאתונה ולרנקה, בכדי לסייע לישראלים לממש את חופשתם, או לחזור הביתה. עדכונים שוטפים באתר ארקיע וברשתות החברתיות, זאת בהתאם לתמונה המצב ולהנחיות רשות שדות התעופה וגורמי הביטחון."
