המלונאים זועמים: "רצון האוצר לפגוע במענק לחיילים משוחררים יפרק את אילת"

למרות המלחמה והתרומה הקריטית של החיילים, במקום לחבק אותם באוצר רוצים לפגוע בהם. בענף אומרים: "יש כיום כ-4,000 חיילים משוחררים במלונות, פגיעה במענק שלהם תהיה פגיעה אנושה בתעשייה"

נראה כאילו גורמים באוצר החליטו להעלים את ענף התיירות בישראל. זה החל ברצון לבטל את הפטור ממע"מ שיש כיום לתיירים שלא מגיעים בדיוק לישראל, המשיך דרך אי תשלום מענק של כ-200 מיליון שקל מענק שסגרו עם המלונאים עבור שיפוץ המלונות בגין שהות המפונים, וכעת ממשיך עם הרעיון החדש, לפגוע במענק החיילים המשוחררים בגין עבודה מעודפת.

לא מובן איך כאשר המדינה במלחמה יותר משנה, כשהחיילים נותנים הכל ומסכנים את חייהם, פקידים באוצר מעלים את הרצון הזה.

בענף המלונאות מעריכים כיום שיש כ-4,000 חיילים משוחררים שעובדים בענף בשל היותו עבודה מעודפת, בגינה זוכים החיילים לקבל מענק כספי.

גורמים בענף המלונאות זועמים ואמרו בנושא לפספורטניוז: "אנחנו המומים מהרצון של האוצר פעם אחת לפגוע בחיילים משוחררים ומצד שני לפגוע פגיעה אנושה בתעשייה באופן כללי במלונאות בפרט". עוד הוסיפו כי "זה אחד הדברים שיפרקו אילת".

לצד העובדים במקצועות המלונאות השונים בעיר, יש לציין כי באילת פועלים לא מעט קב"טים במלונות, שגם הם חיילים משוחררים, אשר הגיעו לאילת כדי לקבל את המענק הכספי של העבודה המועדפת.
