נשיאת ענקית השייט תצנח מגובה 10 אלף רגל: זו הסיבה

ההוריקנים האחרונים הלן ומילטון זרעו הרס רב. נשיאת חברת הקרוזים הודיעה כי הסכימה לצנוח צניחה חופשית כחלק מהמאמץ לגייס כספי סיוע לנפגעים: "ליבנו עם כל אלה שהושפעו מההרס"

נשיאת חברת הקרוזים קרניבל קרוז ליין, כריסטין דאפי (Christine Duffy) הודיעה על הסכמתה לצנוח צניחה חופשית בסגנון טנדם ב-19 באוקטובר כחלק מהמאמצים לגייס כספי סיוע לנפגעי ההוריקנים הלן ומילטון.

לקראת הצניחה חופשית, אמרה נשיאת החברה כי היעד עומד על 75 אלף דולרים באמצעות קרן גארי סיניס וקרן מיקי ומדלן אריסון.

"ליבנו עם כל אלה שהושפעו מההרס של ההוריקנים מילטון והלן. אני כל כך אסירת תודה לכל מי שתרם וממשיך להגביר את מאמצי הסיוע בזמן שאני מתכוננת לקפוץ מגובה של 10,000 רגל מעל מפרץ טמפה עם חברי הכוחות המיוחדים", אמרה דאפי. עוד לדבריה, "השפעת התרומות הייתה מחממת לב ומכבדת במיוחד שיו"ר תאגיד קרניבל קרוז ליין, מיקי אריסון ואשתו מדלן, הציעו את תמיכתם על ידי התאמת כספי הסיוע".
