אנרגיה ירוקה: נמל התעופה של בריסל מספק אנרגיה סולארית לתושבים סמוכים

היוזמה החדשה שואפת לבחון אספקת אנרגיה ירוקה ע"י נמל התעופה לקהילות סמוכות ועתידה להתרחב לנמלי תעופה נוספים ברחבי אירופה

נמל התעופה של בריסל משיק יוזמת ניסיונית לספק ל-100 משקי בית מקומיים שנה של אנרגיה ירוקה בתעריפים מוזלים. תושבים ביישובים קרובים: זאבנטם, מאכלן, סטינוקרצל וקורטנברג, יכולים להירשם דרך פלטפורמת האנרגיה Bolt לקבלת אנרגיה סולארית המופקת על ידי נמל התעופה.

המשתתפים ייהנו מהנחה של 124 אירו על חשבונות האנרגיה השנתיים הממוצעים, כאשר הפרויקט אמור להתחיל בחודש הבא.

זהו חלק חלק מיוזמת Stargate האירופית, תוכנית השואפת לבחון את אפשרות של אספקת אנרגיה שנוצרת בנמל התעופה לטובת קהילות סמוכות. עם 65,000 מ"ר של פאנלים סולאריים חדשים, שהותקנו בשנת 2024, נמל התעופה של בריסל מקדם את היעד שלו להשיג פליטת אפס פחמן עד 2030.

משוב של המשתתפים במיזם יגרום להרחבות עתידיות של הפיילוט ויתרום למאמצי הקיימות ברחבי נמלי התעופה באירופה.
