ברשות האוכלוסין וההגירה ציינו היום (רביעי, 22.1) את חנוכת החנייה הייעודית הראשונה לעובדות בהריון.

המהלך, שהחל לפני שלוש שנים ביוזמתה של יועצת המנכ"ל לקידום נשים, עו"ד חן בן ישראל, ובשיתוף סמנכ"ל הרשות נאיף הינו ומנהלת הלוגיסטיקה דגנית טיבי, נועד להעניק לעובדות סביבת עבודה נוחה ונגישה יותר בתקופה משמעותית זו.

בטקס החנוכה אמר סמנכ"ל הרשות נאיף הינו: "היום אנו משיקים סופסוף חניה ייעודית לעובדות, במטרה לאפשר לעובדות סביבה נוחה לעבודה, גם כשהן בהריון מתקדם. מבחינתנו, זו רק ההתחלה ונפעל לקדם את הנושא בעוד אזורים. מודה לכל מי שדחף והיה שותף, בראשם לחן בן ישראל".

עו"ד חן בן ישראל, שהובילה את היוזמה לאורך השנים, הביעה סיפוק רב מהצלחת הפרויקט ואמרה: "נלחמתי על הפרויקט הזה כמעט שלוש שנים והיום נרגשת לעמוד פה עם שותפיי ולראות את זה קורה. הרשות אומרת היום כן לשוויון בין עובדות לעובדים, גם עובדות בהריון מתקדם ועל אף מצוקת החניות הקיימת במטה. נעשה פה מאמץ גדול ועל כך מגיעה תודה לכל הנהלת הרשות, בראשם למנכ״ל ולסמנכ״ל שאפשרו למהלך לקרום עור וגידים וכמובן לאגף הלוגיסטיקה".

החנייה הייעודית מהווה צעד משמעותי לקידום סביבת עבודה תומכת ושוויונית יותר עבור עובדות הרשות.
