יותר משלוש שנים אחרי תחילת המלחמה באוקראינה, חברת תעופה ראשונה מודיעה כי היא נערכת לחידוש הטיסות למדינה. בנוסף לקו שבין ריגה לקייב, ב-airBaltic מביעים תקווה לחדש את הקו לעיר לבוב ולפתיחת קווים גם לטאלין ולליטא: "נהיה חברת התעופה הראשונה שחוזרת לאוקראינה"
