שישה ימים ל״מרתון דרכון״: שר הפנים ביקר בלשכת באר שבע

שר הפנים משה ארבל, קיים ביקור מיוחד בלשכת רשות האוכלוסין וההגירה בבאר שבע, רגע לפני שיחל ״מרתון דרכון״. במהלך חודש ימים, רשות האוכלוסין וההגירה תייעד את ארבעת הלשכות הגדולות בישראל להנפקת דרכונים ביומטרים בלבד

שישה ימים ל"מרתון דרכון": שר הפנים משה ארבל, קיים ביקור מיוחד בלשכת רשות האוכלוסין וההגירה בבאר שבע

השר ארבל הגיע ללשכת באר שבע על מנת לקבל עדכון בנוגע למוכנות הלשכה ועובדיה לקראת מבצע "מרתון דרכון" שיחל ביום ראשון הקרוב. בנוסף, השר ביקש לעמוד מקרוב על הלכי הרוח בשגרת היומיום ועל האתגרים השירותיים והטכנולוגיים עמם מתמודדים מקבלי השירות וצוות הלשכה.

במהלך הביקור נפגש שר הפנים עם המנהל אמיר פרץ וביקש לבחון באופן אישי את הישגי עובדי ועובדות הלשכה, לרבות כמות הבקשות לדרכון של כל אחד מהם, וביקש להודות באופן אישי לתאמר אבו טהה ולאליס בן הרוש, עובדי לשכת באר שבע על מצויינות וחריצות יוצאות מן הכלל לטובת התושבים.

כאמור, ביום ראשון הקרוב ולמשך חודש יחל "מרתון דרכון". על פי הנחיית השר ארבל תייעד רשות האוכלוסין וההגירה את ארבע הלשכות הגדולות בישראל - בירושלים, תל אביב, באר שבע וחיפה - להנפקת דרכונים ביומטריים בלבד - ללא צורך בקביעת תור. זאת, במקביל לפתיחת מרכז חדש להנפקת דרכונים בלבד בבני ברק שיקבל קהל בקביעת תור.
