טורינו: רכבת מהירה חדשה מנמל התעופה לעיר

הרכבת החדשה תקצר את זמן הנסיעה בין נמל התעופה לבין מרכז העיר התיירותית שבצפון איטליה מ-58 ל-31 דקות. בשנה האחרונה עברו בנמל התעופה של העיר 4.5 מיליון נוסעים

נמל התעופה של טורינו (TRN) מציין בימים אלה את פתיחתה החגיגית של רכבת חדשה, שתקשר בין הנמל לבין מרכז העיר ב-31 דקות בלבד. מדובר בשיפור משמעותי ביחס לרכבת הקיימת שהנסיעה בה ארכה עד כה כשעה.

לצד פופולריות גוברת כעיר תיירותית, טורינו מהווה גם מוקד משיכה לתיירות סקי ענפה בזכות שלל אתרי הסקי המקיפים את העיר.

השירות החדש יפעל בין נמל התעופה של טורינו למרכז העיר משעות הבוקר המוקדמות ועד שעות הלילה המאוחרות. הרכבת הראשונה תצא מנמל התעופה ב-5:29 בבוקר, והרכבת האחרונה לטורינו תצא ב-22:28.

בהודעה שפורסמה מטעם אליזבטה אוליברי, נשיאת נמל התעופה של טורינו נאמר כי "הרכבת החדשה תחבר ישירות את התחנה, המשולבת בתשתית נמל התעופה, עם מרכז טורינו, מרכז הכנסים ואזורי תיירות נוספים.

לצד הרכבת החדשה, בוצע שיפור בגישה לרשת הרכבות האיטלקית. "קלות ההגעה לנמל התעופה היא קריטית, במיוחד עם צמיחה כמו של נמל התעופה של טורינו שהגיע ל-4.5 מיליון נוסעים בשנה האחרונה", אמרה נשיאת נמל התעופה.
