על הפרק - פיצוי של כ-200 מיליון ש״ח: המלונאים ממתינים לאישור הממשלה וחוששים מהעיתוי

לאחר אישור תקציב המדינה לשנת 2024 בשבוע שעבר, כעת הממשלה תצטרך להעביר את הפיצוי למלונות עבור שיכון המפונים. בקרב המלונאים, קיים חשש שאנשי האוצר ינצלו את הדו״חות של הרשתות הגדולות וינסו לטרפד את הפיצוי

המלונאים ממתינים שהממשלה תאשר את המענק המיוחד שאמור לעבור אליהם, בסך של כ-200 מיליון שקל, עבור שיפוץ המלונות בהם שהו המפונים.

כזכור, משרד התיירות סיכם עם המלונאים על מתן פיצויים לאור השהות הארוכה של מפונים במלונות שגרמה לשחיקה בחדרים ולצורך בשיפוצם, לשם הכשרה מחדש לקליטת אורחים. משרד התיירות התחייב להעניק למלונות את הפיצוי לפי מפתח לסוג המלון.

כעת ולאחר העברת התקציב המדינה לשנת 2024, המענק המיוחד עבור המלונות צריך לעבור את אישור הממשלה.

העיתוי נופל על פרסום הדו״חות השנתיים של שלושת הרשתות הגדולות - פתאל, ישרוטל ודן שנסחרות בבורסת ת"א והנתונים שלהם יהיו חשופים לציבור. החברות אמורות לפרסם את הדו״חות לשנת 2023 עד לסוף החודש.

גורמים בענף הביעו חשש כי כאשר יראו את הדוחות, בהנחה שירשמו רווח כספי נאה בשנה החולפת למרות המלחמה, אנשי האוצר ינסו לטרפד את התשלום בטענה שהרווחים מעידים כי אין צורך בפיצוי.

גורמים מלונאים אמרו בנושא: "צריך לזכור כי הרשתות הגדולות הם לא כל הענף, יש עוד 50% שבקושי מתקיימים לנוכח כל מה שקורה - הפסקת הגעת התיירים לישראל וכל ההשלכות לכך. אנחנו מצפים שהממשלה תאשר ותעביר את הכסף שהובטח למלונאים".
