מטוס טורקיש פגע ב-10 עמודי תאורה בהמראה מבוקרשט, איש לא דיווח עד הנחיתה

באירוע שמתוחקר ברשות בטיחות התעופה הרומנית, נגרם נזק כבד למטוס מדגם AIRBUS A330 - שדווח על ידי הטייס רק בעת הנחיתה באיסטנבול. בנמל התעופה של רומניה כלל לא דיווחו על האירוע

אירוע תעופתי חמור. מטוס טורקיש איירליינס ועליו כ-270 נוסעים ואנשי צוות נפגע קשות בעת המראה מבוקרשט בחודש שעבר, לאחר שפגע בעשרה עמודי תאורה בטרם המריא. המטוס המשיך וביצע את טיסתו, והנזקים נתגלו רק לאחר שנחת באיסטנבול.

התקרית החריגה והחמורה התרחשה ב-17 באפריל ומתפרסמת רק כעת. בעת הנחיתה בנמל התעופה באיסטנבול, דיווח הטייס על בעיות בכן הנסע - אך על פי דו"ח רשות בטיחות התעופה הרומנית, לא התקבל כל דיווח מצד הטייס או טייס המשנה על כל בעיה במהלך ההמראה.

בנוסף, גם נמל התעופה של בוקרשט לא דיווח על כל תקלה בהמראת המטוס, או במסלולי ההמראה, למרות הנזק הממשי שנגרם להם. על פי הפרסומים בתקשורת הרומנית, בנמל התעופה פשוט החליפו את גופי התאורה שניזוקו. כאמור, התקרית סווגה כ"חמורה".
