שינויים בצמרת הניהולית של מלון קראון פלזה ים המלח – שמוליק פינץ מונה לאחרונה לתפקיד סמנכ"ל המלון הנחשב לאחד ממלונות הדגל של הרשת הנמצאת בבעלות קבוצת אפריקה ישראל בארץ. פינץ (42, נשוי+2), בוגר תואר ראשון במנהל עסקים וניהול בתי מלון, החל את דרכו במלון הילטון ת"א לפני 18 שנים. מאז ועד היום מילא מספר תפקידי ניהול ברשת מלונות ישרוטל ופתאל. האחרונים שבהם היו כמנהל אגף מזון ומשקאות של מלון המלך שלמה (12 שנה סה"כ) ובשנה וחצי האחרונות כמנהל אגף מזון ומשקאות בלאונרדו פלזה נתניה. מנכ"ל המלון, דוד ברנס, התייחס למינויו של סגנו לו הוא רוחש לו הערכה גדולה ואמר: "שמוליק התקבל לתפקיד הסמנכ"ל בשל איכויות שחיפשתי הן בפן במקצועי והן בפן האישי-חברתי. הוא זכה למחמאות יוצאות דופן ממקומות עבודתו הקודמים ועבר את מבחן המסך. הפרויקט הראשון עליו יהיה אמון הוא הובלת גמר שיפוץ של שלוש קומות במלון. בשם צוות המלון ורשת קראון פלזה אני מאחל לשמוליק הצלחה רבה בתפקיד. אני בטוח בהצלחתו ובהצלחת המלון".
