במסגרת ביקורה, אירחה אשת המושל קבוצה של נשות עסקים ואנשי תקשורת מתחום התיירות, היין והקולנוע במלון דן בתל אביב. את הארוע אירגנה חברת פולאריס, המתמחה בהבאת ביקורי צליינות ותיירות עילית לישראל.

בנאום אישי קצר הסבירה מקדונל לקהל, מדוע מכנים את מחוז וירג'יניה Virginia is for lovers מאחר והיא מתאימה לכל מי שאוהב קולנוע, עסקים, יין ונופים יפים.
