טקס זכרון ממלכתי התקיים בבורגס בהשתתפות שר התיירות והמשלחת מישראל

בטקס, שהתקיים היום [ג'] במקום הפיגוע בבורגס, השתתפו גם בכירי הממשל הבולגרי, ביניהם שר התיירות של בולגריה, מושל בורגס, ראש העיר וראשי הקהילה היהודית בבולגריה. השר מיסז'ניקוב: "לא ניתן לטרור לשבש את אורחות חיינו".

שר התיירות, סטס מיסז'ניקוב, קיים היום בשעות הצהריים טקס ממלכתי במקום הפיגוע בבורגס, בהשתתפות בכירי הממשל הבולגרי, ביניהם שר התיירות של בולגריה, מושל בורגס, ראש העיר וכן בהשתתפות ראשי הקהילה היהודית בבולגריה וחברי המשלחת הישראלית, הכוללת את בכירי ענף התיירות בארץ. הטקס נפתח בתפילת "אל מלא רחמים" ואמירת קדיש. בהמשך הניח השר זר פרחים בשם ממשלת ישראל.

במהלך נאומו הודה השר לכוחות ההצלה ולרשויות בבולגריה, בשם ממשלת ישראל, על הטיפול המסור והיעיל ועל הירתמות הממשלה הבולגרית לטיפול בנפגעים ובחקירת הפיגוע.

השר מיסז'ניקוב אמר עוד: "המסר החשוב שבאתי להעביר בשם ממשלת ישראל הוא, שלא ניתן לטרור לשבש את אורחות חיינו. אסור לטרוריסטים שניסו לחבל ביחסים בין המדינות להצליח בכוונתם הזדונית, והתשובה למעשה הטרור הנפשע היא הידוק הקשרים בכל התחומים. בולגריה הייתה ותישאר מדינה ידידותית עבורנו, ואני מודה לממשלת בולגריה על טיפולה המסור".

מיד בתום הטקס יצא השר לסיור באתרי הנופש, בהם שוהים ישראלים, ביניהם אזור סאני ביץ', שאליו אמור היה להגיע האוטובוס שנפגע. השר שוחח עם נופשים ישראלים, השוהים בבולגריה, שהביעו בפניו את חששותיהם. בהמשך היום ייסע השר לוורנה, שם ייפגש עם המושל וראש העיר, ויסייר במלונות ואתרי נופש פופולאריים נוספים. בשעות הערב ימריאו השר ומשלחתו בחזרה לישראל.

אתמול קיים השר מסיבת עיתונאים משותפת עם ראש הממשלה הבולגרי, בויקו בוריסוב ונשיא בולגריה, רוזן פלבנלייב בסופיה. במהלכה הכריזו השלושה כי בולגריה וישראל יהדקו את שיתוף הפעולה האסטרטגי בתחומי הביטחון והתיירות.

במסגרת חיזוק הקשרים המדיניים והתיירותיים בין המדינות, בספטמבר 2012 יערכו ממשלות ישראל ובולגריה מפגש בירושלים וידונו בהמשך שיתוף הפעולה בין המדינות. בחודש אוקטובר יערוך נשיא בולגריה, רוזן פלבנלייב, ביקור ממלכתי בישראל.
