קרבט שימש עד לחודש יולי שנה שעברה כמנכ"ל סאן דור, ובהחלטה משותפת עם מנכ"ל אל על, אליעזר שקדי, הוא עזב את החברה.

בנוסף, לקרבט ניסיון רב שנים גם בתחום הסיטונאי.

קרבט אישר הבוקר ל'פספורטניוז' כי הוא אמור להצטרף לקווי חופשה, וציין כי עדיין לא הוגדר תחום תפקידו.
