טורקיה משגשגת: אחוזי הזמנות נדירים במלונות בחג הקורבן

כמיליון תיירים מקומיים צפויים לפקוד את אתרי התיירות והמלונות ברחבי המדינה במהלך תשעת ימי החג המתקרב. נתון: עלייה של למעלה מ-5000 סוכנויות נסיעות מקומיות בשלושת העשורים האחרונים

לראות ולקנא. ענף התיירות הטורקי נערך בימים אלו לקראת חג הקורבן המסורתי והציפיות בהתאם. כמיליון תיירים מקומיים צפויים לנצל את חופשת החג (מתחילה ב-15 לאוקטובר) המתפרסת על פני תשעה ימים ולפקוד את אתרי התיירות והנופשונים ברחבי המדינה, כאשר במקביל אחוז התפוסה במלונות כבר חצה את רף 90 האחוזים.

כמונו הישראלים גם העם הטורקי מעדיף את אנטליה המועדפת על פני כ-75 אחוז מהתושבים. עוד בצמרת רשימת יעדי החופשה החמים: בודרום ומארמריס. "זה מטורף", מצהירים מדריכי התיירות המקומיים. "הביקוש לחבילות נופש במהלך החג עלה ב-50 אחוזים לעומת התקופה המקבילה ב-2012. זה פשוט מדהים".

במקביל מדווחות הרשויות בטורקיה בימים האחרונים על הוצאות המבקרים במדינה מצד תיירים מקומיים ברבעון הראשון של השנה שהסתכמו ב-2.4 מיליארד לירות טורקיות (1.2 מיליארד דולר) המהווים עלייה של כמעט 10 אחוזים מהתקופה המקבילה ב-2012.

גם ענף סוכני הנסיעות רושם תור זהב משמעותי בטורקיה. על פי ספירה רשמית כמות הסוכנויות הפעילות כיום במדינה נושק ל-6000 במספר, זאת לעומת 350 סוכנויות בלבד שנספרו בשנת 1980 - המשמעות עלייה של מאות אחוזים תוך שלושה עשורים (!)
