סופי ומוגמר - שדה התעופה בהרצליה ייסגר ב-15 לאפריל 2015

בישיבה שהתקיימה אתמול (רביעי) במשרדו של המשנה ליועץ המשפטי לממשלה, הוחלט סופית לסגור את השדה ללא שום ארכה ודיון במועצה הארצית לתכנון ובנייה. יו"ר אגודת התעופה הכללית: "ההחלטה תנחית מכה קטלנית על התעופה בישראל ובכייה לדורות

בישיבה שהתקיימה אתמול (רביעי) במשרדו של המשנה ליועץ המשפטי לממשלה, בהשתתפות גורמי מקצוע ממשרד התחבורה, משרד הפנים, רשות התעופה האזרחית וגורמים מקצוע נוספים, הוחלט סופית לסגור את שדה התעופה בהרצליה ב-15 לאפריל השנה, לדברי אגודת התעופה הכללית ההחלטה הינה סופית ותינתן שום ארכה או דיון במועצה הארצית לתכנון ובנייה.

שי פופר, יו"ר אגודת התעופה הכללית,  מסר בתגובה : "ההחלטה לסגור את שדה התעופה בהרצליה בעוד כשלושה חודשים, ללא חלופה וללא מתן ארכה לפעילות, תנחית מכה קטלנית על התעופה בישראל ובכייה לדורות. כש-80% מהכשרת הטייסים האזרחיים בישראל ו-90% מפעילות התיקונים והטיפולים במטוסים הקלים ובמטוסי הריסוס מתבצעת בשדה התעופה בהרצליה, המכה הקטלנית לתעופה הכללית ברורה ומיידית. הסגירה תהווה הפסקה מוחלט של הכשרת טייסים אזרחיים, כיבוי האש האווירי, טיסות האמבולנס והפינוי בהיטס, מכוני הבדק לתיקון וטיפולים לכלל המטוסים הקלים בישראל, שירותי מסוקים ממרכז הארץ לכל המדינה לרבות ניקוי קווי מתח, ריסוס חקלאי, טיסות להגברת הגשם, טיסות צילום אווירי, הטסת ילדים חולים ופגועים, סיור אווירי ופיקוח וטיסות פרטיות ומסחריות".
