אוקטובר 2021: כ-57 אלף כניסות תיירים לישראל. אוקטובר 2019: 447 אלף כניסות

מי שחשב שהתיירות בישראל כבר התאוששה כדי שיביט בנתונים הבאים של הלשכה המרכזית לסטטיסטיקה. בחודש אוקטובר נרשמו 57 אלף כניסות תיירים לישראל לעומת כ-447 אלף באוקטובר 2019. 54,900 אלף תיירים הגיעו דרך נתב"ג, 700 דרך אילת, 1,300 דרך היבשה. מתחילת 2021 נרשמו 300.5 אלף כניסות תיירים לישראל לעומת כ-803 אלף בתקופה המקבילה ב-2020 ו-3.742 מיליון כניסות תיירים בחודשים ינואר-אוקטובר 2019. מתחילת 2021 לפי הלשכה המרכזית לסטטיסטיקה נרשמו 4,800 כניסות של מבקרי יום לעומת 54,500 בתקופה המקבילה ב-2020 ו-264.600 בתקופה המקבילה ינואר- אוקטובר 2019 . בחודש ינואר 2021 נרשמו 7,800 כניסות מבקרים לישראל, בפברואר 2,700 כניסות, בחודש מרץ נרשמו 7,100 כניסות מבקרים. בשבוע הראשון של חודש אפריל 2021 עודכנו הקריטריונים לכניסת קרובי משפחה זרים של אזרחים ישראלים, ובחודש זה נרשמו 30.6 אלף כניסות מבקרים. בחודש מאי נרשמו 21,900 כניסות מבקרים.( כזכור בין 10-21 במאי התרחש מבצע "שומר החומות". מסוף חודש מאי החל מתווה של כניסת קבוצות מאורגנות של תיירים מחוסנים לישראל. מתווה זה הושהה במחצית אוגוסט בעקבות העלייה בתחלואת הקורונה. ביוני נרשמו 39,100 כניסות מבקרים לישראל, ביולי נרשמו 50,100 כניסות, בחודש אוגוסט המספר עלה במקצת ל-53,400 כניסות ובספטמבר החולף נרשמו 35 אלף כניסות מבקרים. מניתוח הנתונים מנוכי העונתיות של כניסות תיירים בדרך האוויר עולה כי בשלושת החודשים האחרונים, אוגוסט-אוקטובר 2021, נרשמו 48 אלף כניסות בממוצע לחודש, לעומת 36,800 כניסות בממוצע לחודש בשלושת החודשים שקדמו להם, מאי-יולי 2021.
