ארצות הברית ביטלה את התרעת המסע לחו"ל

ההתרעה הוסרה לאחר ארבעה חודשים וחצי, ויחד עם זאת, משרד החוץ מוסיף: "אנו ממשיכים להמליץ לאזרחי ארה"ב לנקוט בזהירות בעת נסיעה לחו"ל בשל האופי הבלתי צפוי של המגפה"

משרד החוץ האמריקני לא ממליץ עוד לאמריקאים להימנע מנסיעות בינלאומיות במהלך מגפת הקורונה ומסיר את ההתרעה הקודמת בדרגה 4 ("אל תיסעו"). החזרה להמלצה המקורית של מחלקת המדינה מגיעה ארבעה חודשים וחצי לאחר התרעת הנסיעות בדרגה 4, שפורסמה ב-19 במרץ. התרעת הנסיעות ברמה 4 משמעותית בכך שהיא ממליצה לאזרחים להימנע מכל נסיעות לחו"ל ואף ממליצה לכל האמריקאים מעבר לים לחזור הביתה או להתכונן להישאר במקום הימצאם בעתיד הנראה לעין. ועתה מציינת המחלקה, על פי דיווח של USA Today: "כשמצב הבריאות והבטיחות משתפר במדינות מסוימות ועלול להידרדר במדינות אחרות, מחלקת המדינה חוזרת למערכת הקודמת שלנו על מנת לספק למטיילים מידע מפורט, שיועיל להם לקבל החלטות נסיעות מושכלות... ויחד עם זאת, אנו ממשיכים להמליץ לאזרחי ארה"ב לנקוט בזהירות בעת נסיעה לחו"ל בשל האופי הבלתי צפוי של המגפה".
