בשל הקורונה: Norwegian Spirit תפליג לישראל במקום סין

אוניית הקרוז המפוארת של ענקית הקרוזים האמריקאית NCL, שסיימה לא מכבר הליך שדרוג בהשקעה של 100 מיליון דולר תפליג ליוון, טורקיה, קפריסין וישראל

חברת הקרוז נורבג'יאן קרוז ליין (NCL), נאלצה כחברות קרוז אחרות לבטל הפלגות במזרח אסיה בשל מגפת הקורונה. אניית הקרוז של החברה, Norwegian Spirit, שהיתה מיועדת לפקוד בין השאר את סין, תפליג זאת לים התיכון. NCL מציעה מהיום 15/02/2020, הפלגה של שבעה ימים לאיים היוונים, לטורקיה וישראל. ההפלגות הללו יסתיימו ב-8 בנובמבר 2020. האוניה תפקוד לראשונה את אשדוד וחיפה בחודש אוקטובר. משטים אחרים ייוחדו רק לאיי יוון. במהלך ימי המשט תעגון האוניה בשבעה או שמונה נמלים: מיקונוס, סנטוריני וקורפו ביוון ,קוסדאסי ואיסטנבול בטורקיה, אשדוד וחיפה בישראל ולימסול קפריסין. בנוסף האוניה תפקוד את נמל וולוס ואת האי פטמוס ביוון, ותהיה זאת הפעם הראשונה שאוניה של NCL תעגון בנמלים הללו. כפי שפורסם לא מכבר בפספורט קרוז, האוניה עברה לא מכבר הליך של שיפוצים ושידרוג נרחב בהשקעה של כ-100 מיליון דולר ויכולה להשיט 2,018 נופשים. על סיפוניה משרתים 912 אנשי צוות. כזכור, אתמול, עדכנה חברת הקרוזים רויאל קריביאן, כי היא צופה שרווחיה לשנת 2020 יפגעו בשל נגיף הקורונה, וכי חלה ירידה גם בהזמנות להפלגות ליעדים אחרים מעבר לאסיה. ביום חמישי, עוד לפני כן, פרסמה חברת הקרוזים "קרניבל קרוזס" גם הודעה, לפיה למגפת הקורונה תהיה "השפעה מהותית על תוצאותיה הכספיות שלא נצפו כאשר פורסמה תחזית הרווחים הראשונה של החברה צילום: NCL
