הטילים לא פגעו בתיירות הנכנסת: שיא חדש נשבר במארס

בחודש מארס נרשמה עלייה של 8.5% במספר התיירים שנכנסו לישראל בהשוואה לתקופה המקבילה. ההכנסות מתיירות בחודש מארס 2019 נאמדות ב-2.2 מיליארד שקל

המצב הביטחוני לא השפיע על מגמת העלייה בכניסות התיירים לישראל, והרבעון הראשון של 2019 נסגר בצמיחה של 11% לעומת אשתקד, וצמיחה של 43% בהשוואה לתקופה המקבילה ב-2017. מנתוני משרד התיירות עולה כי בחודש מארס 2019 נכנסו לישראל 426.2 אלף תיירים, עלייה של 8.5% ביחס לחודש מארס אשתקד ועלייה של 45.5% בהשוואה למארס 2017, וזאת לאחר עלייה של 14% בכניסות תיירים בפברואר ועלייה של 11% בינואר 2019. ההכנסות מתיירות בחודש מארס 2019 נאמדות ב-2.2 מיליארד שקל. מתחילת השנה היקף ההכנסות מתיירות נכנסת נאמד ב-5.5 מיליארד שקל. דרך האוויר נרשמו 368.2 אלף כניסות תיירים בחודש מארס 2019, עלייה של 5.7% ביחס לשנה שעברה ועלייה של 44.1% ביחס למארס 2017. דרך היבשה נכנסו לישראל 58.1 אלף תיירים, עלייה של 30.3% לעומת מארס 2018 ועלייה של 54.7% ביחס למארס 2017. שר התיירות יריב לוין אמר: "התיירות ממשיכה לשבור שיאים גם ברבעון הראשון של השנה עם עליות מרשימות בכניסות התיירים לישראל. על אף המצב הביטחוני וירי הטילים, גם בחודש מארס נמשך הזינוק בכניסות התיירים וזאת הודות לעבודה מאומצת ושימוש בכלים שיווקים חדשניים".
