יום האישה באייר אינדיה: 52 טיסות עם צוות נשי

חברת התעופה הלאומית של הודו הודיעה כי היום, 8 במארס, יום האישה הבינלאומי, החברה תפעיל 52 טיסות, מקומיות ובינלאומיות, כולל הטיסה דלהי – סן פרנסיסקו, על טהרת הצוות הנשי

למרות ההמולה והדאגה ממשבר הקורונה והשלכותיו ברחבי העולם, בחברת התעופה ההודית לא שוכחים לציין את יום האישה. בהודעה שפרסמה אייר אינדיה, חברת התעופה הלאומית של הודו בישרה כי היום, 8 במארס, יום האישה הבינלאומי, 52 טיסות תופעלנה בלעדית ע"י צוות של נשים. הטיסות כוללות מגוון נתיבים פנימיים בהודו וכן טיסות בינלאומיות, כולל הקו היוקרתי הישיר בין דלהי לסן פרנסיסקו. "הצוות הנשי שבתא הטייס ובתא הנוסעים של אייר אינדיה מפעיל מטוסי רחבי גוף וצרי גוף כאחד... וביום האישה אנחנו מצדיעים לכוח הנשי בשילוב עם האתוס החברתי-תרבותי שלנו", ציינה החברה.
