לאט אבל בטוח – תאילנד ממשיכה להיפתח לתיירות בינלאומית

התיירות בתאילנד ממשיכה להיפתח בבטחה ובאיטיות ביוזמות תיירותיות מיוחדות, תוך כדי אכיפת הנחיות מחמירות להגנה על בריאות הציבור במהלך מגפת הקורונה המתמשכת. ממשלת תאילנד ביטלה לאחרונה את ההגבלות על אשרת התיירות המיוחדת (STV), המאפשרת מעתה כניסה לתיירים מכל מדינה ברחבי העולם. ה-STV special tourist visa מציעה למבקרים ויזה ראשונית ל-90 יום עם שתי הארכות בהיקף של עד 270 יום. אזרחי ישראל, כמו 56 מדינות ברחבי העולם, אינם זקוקים לוויזה לביקור של עד 30 יום, אם הם מגיעים בטיסה. מי שמעוניין בשהייה ארוכה יותר, STV או אשרת תיירות חד פעמית (TR), המאפשרת שהייה של עד 60 יום וניתן להאריך אותה פעם אחת ב-30 יום נוספים, צריך לפנות לשגרירות להנפקת הוויזה. בידוד החובה למשך 14 יום עם הגעת התייר נותר על כנו והוא חל באותה מידה גם על אזרחי תאילנד המגיעים מחו"ל וגם על מבקרים זרים. בין שאר הכללים: התייר חייב להציג אישור הזמנה למלון הבידוד בו ישהה, אישור על בדיקת קורונה שלילית לפני הגעתו, פוליסת ביטוח הכוללת טיפול בקורונה עד סך של 100,000 דולר, וכן לעבור 3 בדיקות קורונה במהלך הבידוד, כשתוצאות שליליות יתירו לו לצאת מהבידוד ולטייל במדינה באופן חופשי.
