ההקלות יכנסו לתוקף ביום חמישי הבא, 6.5.21, שר הבריאות שיביא לאישור הממשלה שורת הקלות נוספות: "התחלואה בישראל הגיעה לשפל שכמותו לא היה מאז תחילת הקורונה, וזאת כאשר רוב מוחלט של המשק פתוח. במצב כזה ניתן להרחיב עוד את ההקלות על הציבור"

שר הבריאות יולי אדלשטיין הודיע הערב (ראשון) כי בכוונתו להביא לאישור הממשלה מתן הקלות משמעויות נוספות לציבור. ההקלות יכנסו לתוקף ביום חמישי הבא, 6.5.21, ככל שמצב התחלואה ימשיך להיות נמוך. על פי התכנית, אותה גיבשו בכירי משרד הבריאות, אלו יהיו ההקלות שיובאו לאישור: 1. מקומות הפועלים בתו הירוק - יבוטלו מגבלות תפוסה, תנאים לפעילות והכנסת מזון. 2. אטרקציות במבנה, בריכות שחייה וחדרי כושר - יפעלו בהתאם לתו סגול ולא רק לפי תו ירוק. 3. התקהלות: עד 500 בשטח פתוח, עד 50 במבנה סגור. 4. תחבורה ציבורית: תבוטל מגבלת התפוסה של 75%. 5. בתו הסגול - מגבלת התפוסה תהיה אדם לכל 7 מטר. 6. ילדים ומנועי חיסון יוכלו להיכנס לפעילויות תו ירוק בבדיקת PCR. עדיין תהיה חובה לעטות מסכות בחלל סגור ולשמור על מרחק של 2 מטר מאחד לשני. שר הבריאות אדלשטיין מסר : "בזכות החיסונים התחלואה בישראל הגיעה לשפל שכמותו לא היה מאז תחילת הקורונה, וזאת כאשר רוב מוחלט של המשק פתוח. במצב כזה ניתן להרחיב עוד את ההקלות על הציבור. הדאגה העיקרית שלנו היא מכניסת וריאנטים דרך נתב"ג ולכן שם לא נאפשר הקלות בשלב זה"
