הקריסה בתיירות הנכנסת בחודש מרץ: ירידה של 81% בכניסות תיירים

מתחילת השנה נרשמה ירידה של כ-30% בכניסת תיירים לישראל בעקבות משבר הקורונה. מנכ"ל משרד התיירות: : "השיתוק התקציבי הביא לשיתוק מערך השיווק, שמונע צמצום נזקים ושמירה על התעשייה שצריכה להתכונן ליום שאחרי"

מנכ"ל משרד התיירות אמיר הלוי, השתתף הבוקר בישיבת הועדה להתמודדות עם נגיף הקורונה בכנסת ואמר: "השיתוק התקציבי הביא לשיתוק מערך השיווק, שמונע צמצום נזקים ושמירה על התעשייה שצריכה להתכונן ליום שאחרי. אני מזכיר שאין תיירות ללא תעופה ולכן המשרד קורא להסדר עם חברות התעופה הישראליות כדי להחזירן לפעילות סדירה, וכן נמשיך להיות בקשר עם חברות התעופה הזרות כדי להחזיר את הטיסות לישראל". בחודש מרץ נכנסו לישראל 80.7 אלף תיירים. מדובר בירידה של 81% ביחס למרץ 2019 וירידה של כ-30% בהשוואה לתקופה המצטברת ינואר-מרץ המקבילה בשנת 2019. הירידה מיוחסת כמובן למשבר הקורונה. ההכנסות מתיירות בחודשים ינואר-מרץ נאמדות ב-3,630,000,000 שקל (כמיליארד דולר) ובחודש מרץ בלבד ב-417,450,000 שקל (כ-115 מיליון דולר).   אמיר הלוי. צילום התאחדות סוכני הנסיעות   במשרד התיירות עובדים בימים אלה על היום שאחרי המשבר ומכינים חומרים לקמפיינים שיחזירו את התיירות לישראל וכן פעולות לעידוד תיירות פנים. במקביל המשרד נמצא בקשר עם חברות התעופה והשותפים העסקיים ברחבי העולם, כדי לשמר את שיתופי הפעולה המצויים, שהושגו במאמצים רבים והביאו לשיא בתיירות עד למשבר הנוכחי. כמו כן משרד התיירות החל לשדר סדרת וובינרים בארץ ובחו"ל וכן בהפצת קורסים מקוונים המיועדים להתמודדות עם אירוע הקורונה והשלכותיו על תעשיית התיירות. הוובינרים מבוצעים על גבי תשתית ZOOM כאשר כלל ההרצאות מוקלטות ומועלות לאתר הקורסים המקוונים של המשרד בקישור זה.
