משרד הבריאות ומשרד החוץ מכינים מתווה לחיסון כ-500 שליחי ישראל בארה"ב

החיסונים ישלחו בעוד כשבוע לניו יורק ועובדי משרדי הממשלה השונים יגיעו לקונסוליה הישראלית בעיר על מנת להתחסן. עד כה חוסנו מאות שליחים משגרירויות ישראל באפריקה, אירופה, אירו אסיה, הודו והמזה"ת שהגיעו לארץ בטיסות חיסון ייעודיות

משרד הבריאות ומשרד החוץ מכינים בימים אלו מתווה שיאפשר משלוח חיסונים של חברת פייזר לקונסוליה הישראלית בניו יורק וחיסון שליחי ישראל בארה"ב. על פי המתווה המתוכנן, החיסונים ישלחו בעוד כשבוע מהארץ לניו יורק ושליחי המדינה בארה"ב (מהשגרירות בוושינגטון ו-8 הקונסוליות הכלליות) יגיעו לניו יורק על מנת להתחסן. סך הכל מדובר על כ-500 שליחים ממשרדי הממשלה השונים ובני משפחותיהם שיחוסנו במבצע המתוכנן. לאחר 3 שבועות תשלח כמות נוספת של חיסונים לביצוע החיסון השני. המתווה הינו חלק מיישום החלטת ממשלת ישראל, ביוזמת שר החוץ גבי אשכנזי, לחסן את כל שליחי המדינה ברחבי העולם. עד כה חוסנו מאות שליחים מהשגרירויות ישראל באפריקה, אירופה, אירו אסיה, הודו והמזרח התיכון שהגיעו לישראל בטיסות חיסון ייעודיות. מתווה ניו-יורק ילמד ובמידה וניתן יהיה ליישמו עפ"י כל הדרישות הרפואיות הקפדניות גם במרחבים נוספים הרי שייושם גם במקומות אחרים לטובת שליחי המדינה בחו"ל.
