תאילנד בראש רשימת היעדים הבטוחים בעולם בתקופת הקורונה

עפ"י מחקר של חברת התיירות הגרמנית Tourlane, שבחנה מגוון נתוני תיירות ובטיחות, תאילנד קיבלה ציון 85 בתקנות הבריאות הבינלאומיות ודורגה בצמרת הרשימה של 184 מדינות

תאילנד מדורגת בראש רשימת היעדים הבטוחים ביותר בעולם לביקור במהלך מחלת הקורונה. כך עולה ממחקר, שערכה חברת הנסיעות הגרמנית Tourlane, שבדקה והשוותה מגוון נתוני תיירות ובטיחות בריאותית.. תאילנד דורגה כיעד הנסיעות הבטוח ביותר בעולם במהלך מגפת הקורונה על סמך קריטריונים שונים, כולל שיעור הנדבקים והמתים מקורונה ב-14 לפי המרכז האירופי למניעה ובקרת מחלות (ECDC), ציון תקנות הבריאות הבינלאומיות , צפיפות האוכלוסין במדינה, שעות שמש ביום לפעילות בחוץ וקשרי טיסה עם גרמניה. תאילנד רשמה מספר נמוך של מקרי קורונה וקיבלה ציון 85 בתקנות הבריאות הבינלאומיות, יחד עם צפיפות אוכלוסייה בינונית, 6.6 שעות שמש ביום לפעילות בחוץ, ומספר הטיסות הישירות הרב ביותר עם גרמניה. דירוג Tourlane הוסיף לשבחים האחרונים, בהם זכתה תאילנד בתקופת קושי זו. עפ"י המחקר, בסוף יולי 2020, תאילנד מדורגת במקום הראשון בעולם מבין 184 מדינות בזכות מאמץ ההתאוששות המתמשך במגפת הקורונה. נכון להיום, תאילנד לא דיווחה על מקרים מקומיים חדשים של קורונה במשך 86 יום. עד כה רשמה הממלכה בסך הכל 3,382 נשאי קורונה ו-58 מקרי מוות. רשות התיירות של תאילנד (TAT) מבקשת להזכיר לכל חובבי תאילנד ברחבי העולם, כי שדות התעופה הבינלאומיים של תאילנד סגורים לתיירים בינלאומיים בינתיים, אך תאילנד תשמח לארח את התיירים שוב לאחר שמצב הקורונה ישתפר. עפ"י המחקר, במקומות הבאים, בסדר יורד, מדורגות המדינות הבאות: סין, ירדן, אורוגוואי, פולינזיה הצרפתית, קנדה, איטליה, קמבודיה, יוון, האיים הקנריים.
