אילקר אייצ'י, יו"ר טורקיש איירליינס לשעבר, מונה למנכ"ל אייר אינדיה

תאגיד Tata Sons, הבעלים החדשים של חברת אייר אינדיה, החליטו למנות את אייצ'י, שהוביל את טורקיש איירליינס להצלחה גדולה, ולאחר בחירתו ציין כי "ינצל את המורשת החזקה של אייר אינדיה כדי להפוך אותה לאחת מחברות התעופה הטובות בעולם"

יו"ר טורקיש איירליינס לשעבר, Ilker Ayci, מונה למנכ"ל החדש (CEO) של אייר אינדיה על ידי בעליה החדשים, תאגיד Tata Sons. בהודעה לעיתונות, תאגיד Tata ציין כי לאחר דיונים רבים, הדירקטוריון אישר את מינויו של אילקר אייצ'י למנכ"ל אייר אינדיה. החברה הוסיפה כי המינוי כפוף לאישורים רגולטוריים. מר Ayci ייכנס לתפקיד מיד לאחר האישור. לאחר מינויו אייצ'י אמר שהוא שמח ומרגיש כבוד להצטרף לקבוצת Tata ולהוביל את חברת התעופה האייקונית. הוא המשיך והוסיף כי "ינצל את המורשת החזקה של אייר אינדיה כדי להפוך אותה לאחת מחברות התעופה הטובות בעולם עם חווית טיסה מעולה באופן ייחודי המשקף את החום והאירוח ההודי". עד לאחרונה אילקר אייצ'י היה יו"ר טורקיש איירליינס ולפני כן היה חבר בדירקטוריון החברה. קודם לכן מילא אייצ'י מגוון תפקידים ציבוריים, עסקיים וכלכליים בקשרים הבינלאומיים של טורקיה. אייצ'י נולד באיסטנבול ב-1971, והוא בעל תואר ראשון במדעי המדינה ומינהל ציבורי ותואר שני ביחסים בינלאומיים.
