נשיא התאחדות המלונות מסכם שנה: "ענף המלונאות באפלה כבדה"

"2020 הייתה שנה קשה ביותר לענף שנפגע בכל רבדיו. למזלנו הגדול, נכנסנו ל-2020 חזקים ורוב הענף עדיין מעל למים", כך מסכם את השנה החולפת והכל כך מורכבת, אמיר חייק, נשיא התאחדות המלונות. יחד עם זאת, מדגיש חייק, ש"ענף המלונאות, שהוא ענף תשתיתי לכל תעשיית התיירות המורחבת, עדיין נמצא באפלה כבדה וישנם מלונות שסגורים מחודש מרץ השנה. בנוסף, כוח האדם היקר המרכיב את הענף נמצא רובו בחל"ת, דבר המעלה סימן שאלה גדול לגבי היכולת להחזירו לעבודה במלואו גם אם יחזור הענף כולו לעבודה". לקראת השנה החדשה, 2021, צופה נשיא התאחדות המלונות: "הנבואה ניתנה לשוטים אבל אם נראה את האור וננסה להיות אופטימיים, הרי שהענף צפוי לחזור לעבודה מלאה סביב חג הפסח". עוד צופה חייק, "התפוסה במלונות בשנה החולפת הייתה נמוכה מאוד ועדיין כולה מתבססת על תיירות פנים, והיה והתיירות העולמית תשוחרר מהכבלים, יש סכנה גדולה לתפוסות נמוכות עוד יותר בשל העובדה כי ישראלים רבים ייסעו למלונות בעולם. ישראל לא משתתפת עדיין במלחמה של כל מדינות העולם על כל תייר. עובדה זו מטרידה מאוד ומסמלת שגם שנת 2021 תהיה קשה לענף". כיצד מסכם את השנה החולפת מנכ"ל רשת מלונות דן? הקליקו כאן
